EARTHsport was founded by Philip Davis and Mark Ernsting through their collective concerns and experiences with sustainability issues in sports — and their desire to act to initiate effective change toward helping sports become more socially, economically and environmentally responsible.

Teaming up with Clark Lim, the founders have established positive and creative mechanisms in order to bring attention to researching — and ultimately solving — a range of pressing challenges facing sports and its impact on our world. Their hope is that by demonstrating the scope of initiatives throughout diverse sports, by researching “better ways of doing,” and by leading by example in implementing sustainable sporting events, they can inspire producers and consumers to make even more sustainable sports and lifestyle choices.
